uss

our first trip to uss. we were very excited about it. starting off the day with breakfast with sesame street characters, follow by activities within uss and Christmas show. determine to make full use of our package to stay the whole day.  

 

 

the breakfast with sesame street character is the best. it just turn all of us back into kids. we get excited over every character that walks into the restaurant. drop of food and off we went to queue. everything is so pretty in there. i want to take every single thing back with me.

 

 

maybe its holiday and its a weekends, all the rides queue are long. the shortest queue is about 15 minutes to 40 minutes. we didn't queue for a lot of rides as many are not suitable for them as well. we have funs taking pictures with many of the mascots.

 

 

 

 

i wouldn't go back to uss in the near future unless they have special events going on.

 

 

mosaic christmas party

 

the august 2008 kids had their mosaic christmas party this year. its just a small scale party for them to gather and have fun doing an activity together. where we mommy get to chit chat with another to catch up.

 

 

its no longer an easy task for them to gather and have fun together as they grow older. can you see that it even very hard to gather together to take a proper photo.

 

 

 

i'm glad that we still manage to get this done. thank you hui chin for designing the lovely lego tees for us though the printing is quite bad. the colour runs quite badly for the whites tees.

present?

i was in a packing mood and was clearing up the house. i saw this soo kee box lying around. i thought it was my surprise gift. it was indeed a surprise gift when i opened it up. it was not a diamond ring, it was a minnie mouse plastic ring. yu xi saw me opening it, she came to me and said, 'its mine!'. and she walked away with the box.

 

gift for girlfriend not wife

 

i walked out of the room to look for darling.

 

me: darling, why you buy present for your girlfriend? i don't have any.

darling: (lost and shock) huh??? what present?

me: mei mei, can you show papa what you have?

 

yu xi walked over and show papa her soo kee's 'ring'. i gave darling a sulking face and walked off. hahaha.....

its christmas!!!

yu ze's first christmas, he got lots of new toys and we brought him to see christmas lightings too. although he won't be able to remember anything but at least must take some picture to show him when he grow up. 

babies christmas party

we had a christmas party for the august babies at one of the mummy's place in the afternoon. she is very nice to offer her place for the mummies and babies to have an enjoyable christmas party. we had gift exchange for the babies. all babies get to see their friends and interact with one another.

 

 

darling send us there but didn't join us. mummies that i had not met, can recognise me by looking at yu ze. i didn't know yu ze is so 'popular', mummies can come up to me at the void deck and say this must be yu ze and you are celyn. heheh..... for mummies that we are meeting for the first time, we are able to recognise each other by looking at the baby.

 

 

i think its nice to have such gathering for the babies and mummies too. now we can put nick to faces when we chat in forum. i think there might be another one coming up for chinese new year.

christmas present

i manage to trick my darling into tell me what he is getting for me as christmas present. i told him i don't like tag heuer watch when he told me he is going to get me a watch. he is so upset about it. i told him, its ok we can still go and have a look. maybe there will be one that caught my attention.

 

we went to the tag heuer boutique yesterday to look around. nothing caught my attention so we went round to other watch shops in suntec. finally i manage to find 1 that i like and darling thinks its nice too. its a katherine hamnett watch. at first, i was looking at the rectangle face one, then i saw the small round face one. that looks nicer and very classic. so darling says its timeless, it will still look good after 10 years and he got that for me. 

 

however, i still didn't have the watch with me. me being very vain, took out the watch to see when we were in the car. then we realise the watch is not working. good thing is that we had not left the carpark. so i called the shop immediately and told them to wait for us. they are closing in 5 mins. we went back with the watch and was told that the battery is flat and they happen to not have battery of that size. so the shop is getting a new watch for me from the supplier but I will only be able to get it next week. 

 

as we were walking back to the carpark, i realise i did another stupid thing. i had left my own seiko watch in the box and leave everything behind in the shop. sigh..... its too late to call them then cos they are closed. so i can only called them today. 

 

i was never so blur before. good thing is that i'm the last customer yesterday and called them when they open just now. lucky they found the watch if not, i would have lost my 21st birthday present. they will keep it for me till next week when i collect the watch.
